Gallery hours are 9:30 am to 2:30 pm,
Tuesday through Friday.
Admission is
always free. |

Come join us each month in a casual and friendly atmosphere when we celebrate the
opening of a new exhibit with a wine and hors d'oeuvres reception.
A new exhibit is hung each month, starting in October. Some exhibits feature
members, faculty, students or regional artists. Others are juried open exhibits
and the Island Art League encourages participation by all interested area artists.
Exhibit artwork is original and most is available for sale by the artists.
Opening receptions are on Friday, the first evening of the exhibit, from 5:30pm to
7:30pm, unless otherwise noted, and are always open and free to the public.

Faculty Exhibit
October 9th - November 8th

Submissions: October 6 and 7, 10 am - 2 pm

DOORS Exhibit
November 13th - 30th
Opening reception: Friday, November 13, 5- 9 pm
Submissions: November 10 and 11, 10 am - 2 pm
An all media juried exhibit about entrances, portals and passages. These are the doors of our lives. Part of the annual Anna Maria Island artsHOP event.

Island Colors
December 4th - 20th
Opening reception: Friday, December 4, 5:30 - 7:30 pm
Island watercolorist Cheryl Jorgensen and acrylics painter Marlane Wurzbach illustrate the spirit of the Islands and their inhabitants.

16th Annual James Pay Exhibit
January 8th - February 7th
Opening reception: Friday, January 8, 5:30 - 7:30 pm
Submissions: January 5 and 6, 10 am - 2 pm
An all media, members-only exhibit, honoring an Island Art League founder.

The Florida I Remember: A Photographic Journey
February 12th - 28th
Opening reception: Friday, February 12, 5:30 - 7:30 pm
Submissions: February 9 and 10, 10 am - 2 pm
An open juried exhibit of photography capturing the Florida of "yesterday" being preserved for tomorrow.

An all media exhibit open to Island Art League students of all ages -from the young to the young at heart.

A celebration of the drawings, paintings,
photographs, ceramics and graphic designs of
Manatee High School art students.

The Island Art League is grateful to the many excellent island restaurateurs who show
their support of the arts through the delectable food they prepare for our opening receptions.
